2014 Hall of Fame Induction

The tenth annual Newark High School Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place on Friday, January 10th, 2014. The Hall of Fame committee and the Newark High School Sports Boosters would like to congratulate the 2014 Newark Sports Hall of Fame inductees:

Virgil Duvick
Virgil has worked as timekeeper or scoreboard operator at Newark boys basketball games for 29 years. He can also be seen at most away basketball games, no matter what the weather.

2007-2008 Girls Basketball Team
Class 1A second place in state. Regional, Sectional, and Supersectional Champs. First girls team in Kendall County to compete for a state championship.
